Suubi
Trust is supporting the work of International
Medical Foundation in
Our aim is to provide funds totalling £18,000,
during
2008, to provide primary healthcare to the most disadvantaged in this
region. We anticipate that such care and treatment will be received by
200 patients each month, 2,400 over the full year. Without such
intervention, those being treated would either be unable to find the
care needed or simply not be able to afford the fees being charged.
To date we
have raised over £15,000 through generous
sponsorship by:
- Friends
and Family of Matt and Lauren
who gave £3082.87 in lieu of wedding gifts
- Aspect
Capital
- Port-P
- Wesleyan
Assurance
- St.
Peter's Methodist Primary
School
- Kuvuka
and a number of individual supporters.
In the 6 months to June 30th we had provided care to 1,200 patients.
We are actively seeking further sponsorship for this initiative; you can read more here...
