Hi guys,

On June 1^st I fly out to Entebbe, Uganda to offer my assistance as a volunteer worker for 2 months. I am funding the entire cost of the trip myself but would also like to raise some money for the charity that I will be associated with, Suubi Trust.

As part of my time in Uganda I anticipate working within the local community on projects to improve healthcare and sanitation as well as visiting and working in local schools and orphanages. As you may or may not be aware after many years of war and unrest, particularly in the Northern areas of Uganda, almost 2million families were forced to leave their homes and lives behind where some have spent some 15 years in IDP camps. These camps are now beginning to close and Ugandans are returning home but to little or no healthcare or schooling facilities.

Suubi Trust, a UK registered charity, 1119874, is working with International Medical Foundation to make a Difference to Healthcare in Uganda. There are a number of different ways to donate funds to support the vital work of Suubi Trust as outlined below.
